It's a decent kit, if a little sparse on detail (and heavy handed on others). I think the hull is the proper size.

If it ain't, it's real close. just fill in the gaps with some strip styrerne and she'll look fine. Builds into a nice lttle display model straight OOB. There are better more expensive kits out there now and of course PE sets.

good links yea I know of one, go to the masters web site and have a look at his bulldog,
http://guntruck.com/
for some reason cant get it to be clickable, but just copy n paste it to address bar on browser, be sure to look at his tamiya kit, not the skybow on front page, although both are awesome pieces of armor.

If you want to just dress up the basic Tamiya kit (which I always recommend as a great beginner kit), Ordnance Models makes a small photo etch and resin set for the kit. It is inexpensive (like $5), and consists of about 20 PE parts and 3 resin parts. The main thing it does for the Tamiya kit is add the sponson box detail to the side of the hull that is visable in the box art but bare in the plastic kit. I've got three of these, the first one was motorized (many years ago), the second was straight OOB with putty and some basic detailing (like thinning out guards and drilling out some holes) and the third is in the process of being built with Eduard PE, AFV Club tracks & suspension, Barrel Depot barrel, Skybow .50 cal.

Of course Eduard makes a more comprehensive PE set for it, but I usually recommend the Ordnance Models set since the better Skybow or AFV Club kit is about the cost of the Tamiya kit plus the Eduard set.
