I believe that these are all re-issues from the JB Models range.

JB ceased trading at the end of 2007 and I think that all the tooling was bought by Airfix and is now going to be packaged as Airfix.

you are indeed correct Hornby bought over JB models

so in otherwords they are not new kits

They're nice little kits all the same. Quite innovative with some clear plastic parts that you paint.
