Hello,
This is my first time that I paint figures. I hope you like it and comments are mostly welcome
I sprayed the figures first with a coat of primer (tamiya flat white) The a coat of flesh (tamiya flesh, duhh ) Then I painted the shadows with OIl paints, I mixed some colours trough eachother (don;t know the colours) and did also the highlights, Painted the eyes first and then I blended all the colours. Last I painted the leather.
Maby a strange technic but I like the result so far.
What do you think??
Hilbert
Sorry for the bad picture.... The middle head is my last and best one...

Are the tankers' headgear brown leather? I'm working on some myself, and wasn't sure about that.

THe Russian Tanker helmets came in a variety of colors. At first they were black leather, but later you could find brown leather, deep blue cloth, tan cloth, brown cloth, etc...
The IDF even used the Czech post war brown ones until @1960
