Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy 1/35 scale bottles for making Molotov cocktails ? My son and I are working on the scene from "Saving Private Ryan".
thanks.

Hi there
One way of making cheap bottles out of stuff you probably have is to use clear sprue.
You can heat the varous thicknesses of sprue and draw it out or push it in to get thin and bulged shapes, thin neck line bottles etc. Then cut and or sand to shape. Use a tinting colour for the fuel or wines and add labels. I used it on a couple of models in 1/24 granted, but I am sure with a wee bit practice you could make a go in 1/35.

Here ya go... feature #1
another way is to use a ball point pen - the soft foggy colored clear ones. cut it about 1" then use a candle and heat it and streatch it like sprue only not as thin. Trim, cut paint done.

verlinden makes a good set of bottles.I used brown and greenmagic markers to color them, this makes them look translucant.I use fine paint pens to make the labels.only use the markers up to the neck of the bottle.
