Hi mates!
Last week I finished a little vignette, inspired by this picture:
Note: Someone told me that saw this pic in a DAF forum. If it has some sort of copyright, please let me know.
Well, I had the Tamiya Kubelwagen typ 82 in my shelf, so I build it, mainly OOB, with some modifications (I added some hanging tarp made from tissue paper, I rebuilt the seats frames with copper wire, made the wood grid from the floor with some litlle pine strips, added an scratched light to the right side).
I added the beer bottles box (made from balsa wood) and put an scratch made bottle and cans over the bonnet and mud fenders.
The blankets over the drivers seat, beneath the briefcase, are made from tissue paper. The briefcase is the one that comes with the Italeri's Horch.
The figures are from Tamiya (the driver that comes with the Kubelwagen) and I made the one that is eating with some Academy and Dragon parts. I made the pants with some yoghurt ' metal top.
The lizzard is from the number 6063 Dragon Afrikakorps set.
And the Luftwaffe jacket came with the Dragon 251 C 3 in 1 kit.
As usual, good or bad criticism is welcome.
The ground is made from foam, covered with sand and little pebbles, then glued to a wood round plate. I put some spackle over the foam prior to add the sand.
Except for the Kubelwagen body, that I painted with a mix of Humbrol 63 and 93, the rest is all painted with acrylics.
Cheers, mates

The kubel and figure(s) are well done. You did a great job capturing the feeling and escense of the photo. Great details all over the place.
My nit pic is the size of the base. It's a bit big, for the next one try a bit smaller base, it focuses the viewers eyes on the quality work of the subject more.

Thanks for all your remarks, fellows!
I will have them present when attempting a new vignette.
And I promise I will give a more closer look to my camera manual
Cheers!!!
