I have been doing a lot of research and haven't come up with any standard for markings on this vehicle, or any of the M1 versions for that matter. It seams like the older models always had the "bumper codes" on them but a lot of the pictures I see of the A2 are mixed. Some have them and some don't. I am thinking of finishing the model as a 4th ID abrams in OIF (operation Iraqi Freedom) because I know the 4th ID has the A2 version, but can't seam to find any pictures of them after about 4 hours of searching tonight. I did find a lot of Marine and 3rd ID abrams but none of them where A2's. If anyone can tell me how to do the markings for a 4th ID M1A2 in OIF it would be a huge help. One more question. Are there any M1A2's over in Iraq that are painted in the nato 3 camo? I have seen some M1A1's painted that way but no A2's. If anyone knows if any of these exist over there please let me know. As always, any additional information you would like to add to help me make this project more accurate is more than welcome. I am building the trupeter M1A2 and with a photo etch kit with it if that matters.

Not the greatest, but it appears the front ID is standard Army, unit on TC side, vehicle ID on LDR's. Haven't found a back shot yet.
