Kinda of a weird question but here goes.
In the AIM/SEP kits Dragon has included CID panels for the front of the turret which appear to be decals or think card or something (still sealed in plastic) so not entirely sure what they are made of (sorry)
Can a person apply decals on top them? (Echelon sheets have decals which would go in the middle of the panel etc)
Would they handle microset/microsol being applied to them?
Must they be clearcoated before having an oil wash applied or no need?
Thx

They're a self-adhesive sticker. That makes them just a heavy, paper with a glossy surface. I sealed mine with some semi-gloss acrylic clear. Once the clear dries you should not have any problem.

I have the same kit. I am using the eduard cip panel set, but before I got the eduard set I was planning to use thin evergreen plastic card, using the dragon supplied ones as a template. I would suggest doing this as it allows you to put the EFD decals on and allows you more freedom in weathering and adding 'battle damage'.
Hope that helps. Cheers.
