Does anyone happen to have Eduards PE set for the Avenger upgrade Kit (number 35497 on Eduard site)?
If so could you please measure the circular fan protection grills for me, thanks for your help.

It's the part #43 that can be seen on the rear of the avenger turret in the picture below :
Maybe someone has Italeri's kit at least, and can measure the plastic molding of the grill ?...

Yes that illustration makes it much clearer, thanks
Bill
Joe you're the man, I bet you have a huge stock pile of unmade Humvee kits don't you? Now that I have that information I'll see how that affects Matt's progress on the Red Dot grill CAD he's working on/
Best to both of you

Hi Bill
Thanks to Joe's post, we know that the fan grill should correspond to one of the RedDot pancake fan assembly shown on RedDot PDF document I've sent you some times ago. Item #73R8582 should fit the bill : the diameter is 12 5/8 inch (10 blade fan) = 9.16mm in 1/35th scale...(close enough )

Interesting, you thought this would be the case ages ago, I should have learned by now never to doubt you, great work and thanks for the math.
