Another question regarding a manufacturing I've never heard of "Lee Models". They appear to make a few 1/72 scale kits, but I'm suspect that they may be import copies of other manufacturer's work. Anyone else have any experience with them or the quality of the build? I tried a search but had no hits. Great Models as a M1A1 on sale for $6, but the is wonder Revell kit is only a few dollars more.

Lee does knock-offs of other companies' molds. Apart from engineering that may not match the original kit's quality, dealing with that type of company encourages piracy. Academy and Trumpeter used to do that in their early days, but they seem to have mended their ways.

That's what I thought, but was just curious. I've been very pleased with the Revell kits that I have been working on so I'll stick with the real deal. Thanks a million.
