I am buliding the 1/35 scale tamiya steyr type 1500a/01 and the kit only has half of the engine. I just started back to hobby and have limited skills and funds for hobby so any advice to make it "look" like a normal engine. Thanks for the help.

Well, unless you decide to also open the hood to display the engine there really is no need as you won't really be able to see it once everything is closed up. If this is what you're planning, sorry to say but I haven't seen any aftermarket engine sets for this kit. However, check out Verlinden as if there is one I am sure they probably made it.
