That is really good news Milo! Btw I guess it is a typo in the instructions since it says Leopard 2A5. The only deployed Leopard 2A5s I know about are the Danish ones in A-stan and they don't use slats. To my knowledge the slats are only used for the Canadian Leopard 2A6 in A-stan.

Erik,
This is small error because this PE is sample. On produce PE is 2A6.

It looks excellent...and includes the mounting brackets in PE as well.
This will be a great set for a Canadian Leopard 2A6M CAN.
Thanks for posting the images.

The best detailed images so far were taken by Anthony Sewards during his tour in Afghanistan while he was commanding a Leopard C2....the Leopard 2A6M CAN was just coming in as he was rotating back home.
His Photobucket galleries...pages 8 - 11 for the Leopard 2A6M CAN.

I am sure there will be ...........just be patient.....conversion sets don't grow on resin trees.....
Perfect Scale Models already makes a conversion for the Leopard 2A6M.....you can use the belly armour included in the kit.
The other additions to the Canadian Leopard 2A6M CAN are:
-add-on glacis plate armour
-new style antenna mounts
-mount for rifle rack on the turret top in front of the commander's hatch

Any hope of doing slat armor for the M113? It's a pretty popular vehicle.

Or the Scimitar. Scimitar sets would be nice (both the earlier "pierced plate" style) and the latest bar armour.
Cheers,

I already made German Leo 2A6. Now I'm going to finish my T72 with scratch slats. So I really know which will be my next model: a canadian 2A6 with slats. I already love it.
So I think that the Tamiya one with Perfect Scale conversion plus Eduard photoetches will work well together. Can someone tell me if this armour roof is in the Perfect Scale conversion or have I to make it from scratch?
Thanks. Cheers.

As far as additional armour goes the Perfect scale conversion only gives you the belly armour.

Miloslav,
That is excellent news...thanks for the update. The Hobby Boss Leopard 2A5/A6 should be an OK base for the conversion......but the Tamiya Leopard 2A6 is better.
Guys....the Perfect Scale 2A6M conversion includes the belly armour.......the add-on glacis plate armour is unique to the Canadian 2A6M CAN version.

Thank you Jason: so the armour roof will be a scratch job.
There is someone who can help me with this roof ? Drawings, close pics for details and for measurements will be very appeciated.
And for the new style antenna mount of course.
Thanks to all of you in advance.
Guido
