Looks Great !And very helpful .Ihad the older kit half built for a while you certainly gave me the spark to finish it. One question that has plaged me with othe 250/251 kits is how to paint the vision slots without mucking things up especaly the side ones Thanks for any help, Mark

Appreciate the comments Mark! What I chose to do as a solution for the solid vision ports is to paint them with Silver and then follow it up with Tamiya Clear Smoke to simulate the look of glass. Then I dry-brushed the frames to clean up a bit. It's a stand-in for the clear parts that was the best I could come up with under the circumstances.

Ah, sorry, didn't understand the question. If I understand you this time, the outlines around the exterior is achieved using a pin wash. Highly thinned paint applied with a small detail brush and allow the capillary action to pull it in.

Yes, same idea. I use Burnt Umber thinned about 90% with thinner as my preferred pin wash.
