I am not a big fan of WWII Russian armor, but I agree your painting and weathering have come together to make a very nice kit. The overall finished model is very appealing, is it straight OOB?

Looks good Danial, I like the hand painted look to the white stripes.
You should enter this in the Model of the month competition.

Thanks Patrick. I use Gunze paints, I'm never a big fan cause of the smell but hey, i like the smoothness of the color it gives.

Yeap, it is built straight out of the box. The construction took me about 2 weeks. A bit too slow for me and i took another 2 weeks to paint and weather. Its a complete 1month build for me.

I never thought of that, could you point me to the right direction sir? Will need more pictures too.

Looks mighty nice, and it's always good to see another IS-2. I do like the color, and the weathering is subtle and well done.

The recognition stripes look good; are they the kit decals, or did you handpaint them? Or did you use the decals and handpaint the runs and brushmarks?

The lines and the runs were hand-painted using vallejo offwhite. Its a real challenge i tell you. I was swearing all the time just to get it straight and right. . its was a fun build OOB.

Too many good things to comment on, Danial, great job! I especially like the tracks and the 'wet look' to the fuel stains, superb

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

The wet look on the spare tanks were painted on with Future floor polish.

I will be posting the completed pictures up as soon as possible.

Cheers!
