Feeling a bit nostalgic and want to recreate the old Matchbox blown up bridge in 1/35 to display my Tasca Firefly. Anyone got a pic or a link to one?

Hi Pat
I can scan a small picture from 1978 Matchbox catalogue and send it to you. Just need your e-mail.

Just like I remember it, The bridge doesn't make architectural sense to me . If the base was tilted so that the bricks were level to the horizontal plane it would look right. Am I right?

Yes you are right; but if my memory still works all the Dioramas Matchbox did show the vehicle in a nose up position.
