Hi Bart
welcome to Amorama, and what great way to start. Excellent diorama. I love the scene. Lovely painting on the figures. What do you use, acrylics, oils ?
Speaking of the figures I'm trying to place the ones you used within the scene. Could you let me know. I've a feeling some are Hornet/Wolf, some Tank the resin figure from Russia maybe.
Anyway, once again welcome, look forward to seeing more of your work. Great first post and introduction.

Thanks for the comments....To answer a few questions...
The figs are a mix of Warriors, Alpine, Tank, Yosci and Hornet...with a few conversions here and there.
I paint with acrylic, enamel, and oils depending on the look, colour and tone I am going for.
Thanks again
Bart

Great dio. I like the muted range of colours -greys, black and white and greens. It works really well.

Very nice looking set up. The mud almost looks real, dirty, mucky, and nasty.
I like the overall look and story of your dio. Welcome to Armorama and thanks for sharing!

Very nice dio! Not the run of the mill shoot-em up type. You can almost feel the mud under your boots and you can almost smell the outhouse.

Stunning work Bart, apart from agreeing with everything that´s already been said I can only add that your choice of colour tones is spot on the nail & your photography is something to envy . It´s good to have you around.

A great dio Bart,
The winter 'feel' is very well captured, as is the humour of the scene well done.
Only thing is that the infantryman's greatcoat and helmet are too light a shade of green in my opinion, at first I thought he was a rusky! Dont get me wrong your figure painting is excellent!
Look forward to seeing more of your work,
James
