What's a good way to make rubble mounds?? My current dio is going to be a post-apocalyptic type city block with blown out buildings and such, but I also need to store it seeing as it's over 2.5 feet long. I wanted to be able to make some rubble mounds, but maybe have them removalable, but still look "intergrated" when I set up for pictures. What is the best plaster to use?? I have ZERO experience with plaster other than when I was a kid using Plaster of Paris. Help!
BULLET HOLES: Just take a hot knife and poke small holes into the buildings??

Easiest way I can think of in making rubblemounds that are easy to take off. Built the global shape up from styrofoam and make sure that it fits against walls and in corners, Spread white glue over it, Stick planks and other pieces of wood and metal in, Put some un used cat litter in the white glue, And some bricks, Eventually sprinkle the whole thing in with sand. You can add a number to the bottom of the mound which indicates to which positoon on the dio is going to go where. And simply don't glue them on. So they can be taken off
For Bullet holes it is not really neccesary to heat the knife blade... you will find out that it is not that hard to carve in Bulletholes with a knife in plaster. Other damages can be done too... Some examples:
