Some quick progress shots of my current project. Some have already said it looks more Golani....
Scratch Acacia tree,foam base,various sands,gravel,and ballast.
'Leaves' are stretched, torn, abused, and dyed ScotchBrite pads.Don't know if the sporadic yellow flowering shows.
The first bank. Exposed roots and wash bed next.
And the requisite 'Bench o' Mess' that I work from. Not seen is a card table, electric heater, and 2 supervising hounds..........
More later!
Rick

Rick -Indeed I find this intriguing, it sounds like a really good trick.
I like the colours, but for the shapes, whether I change eyes, or I change my computer screen or you post big pictures

To everyone- Thankyou for your kind comments as they are appreciated. I am having an intermittant site problem with uploading photos. I have a ticket in and thought it was fixed. More on that later I guess. I will try again tonight when I get home from the war on poverty.
cheers!

Hah! Got it! had to log out, then back in to get pic posting to work. Sorry about the deleted post/scattered electron debris but it was a bitter battle!
Above is a larger pic that shows more detail of the ScotchBrite foliage.
