Wow! What a phenomenal job no matter how many armor kits you don't have under your belt! I don't usually look at German stuff but had a little time to kill. I'm glad I did. Can't wait to see more of hits one.
Have you posted pics of your cars anywhere?

Well, I'm considering myself finished with this one now up to 99,8%. Just need to take care of a couple of small things like the lens in the Bosch light and get the figure painted and ready.
I'm working on the figure right now to get it ready for my first contest next weekend with an armor model, I'm really looking forward to that.
Any comments, critics and changes I should do before next weekend is welcome. I think this has been a fun project as a first armor build, and I appreciate the cudos and positive feedback from you guys here in the dark zone.
Anyways, here goes...
Some detail shots...
That's it, I'll post some pics of the model with the figure when I get it done and are satisfied with it. Hope I can pull it off cause it's gonna be my first attempt at figure painting also.

looks great, what paint did you use for the chipping?
Thanx!
For the chipping I mixed some Testors steel with raw umber, black and orange oils and used a part of a kitchen sponge dipped in the mix on the high points, and areas that would get some wear and tear. I also used an HB lead pencil to simulate bare metal in some places.
Thanx for looking.

I am amazed at how this is progressing. I finished a StuG III G a few months ago. I thought it came out really good. Now I am going to rethink everything.
As for the chain. I get mine at the LHS. You can also find it on Great Models Webstore.
