Allright, the rest of the Abrams reference pics are posted. These include about 180 exterior detail pictures and some of the Bosch CVC helmet, the drivers night vision device, and the new fuel and water cans. They can be viewed here:

In case anyone is interested, Gary Owsley posted this at Missing Links about the Abrams I photographed and I though I would re-post it here.
"Incase anyone is intrested..... the tank is C-24 from C Co. 1/635AR Kansas Army National Guard. It's the Plt.Sgt's tank of second platoon, or White4, or as we are refered to..WhiteTrash4. It was used in combat in Desert Storm by the 1 INFDIV. When active duty took pity on us an decided we had trashed all our M1IP's they gave us these. Of course 1 DIV had run the piss out of them for 10 years by the time we got them. This is the home staion tank in Lenexa, Ks. ( burb of Kansas City) One other side note...1/635AR is the only Kansas unit in a California division, 40 INFDIV. "
And it is a Bose CVC helmet, not a Bosch CVC helmet, my mistake.

Very nice Rob
placed these albums also under my favorites, used your other interior pictures for my M60 120S project (m60 with M1A1 turret) with interior , used some of the verlinden parts, after studiying your pictures , discarded them right away, and had to make my own.
thanks for the nice pictures Kees

Hey Rob!
Now that you have finished this undertaking, does that mean you're going to start building models again?
We missed you at the KC AMPS meeting last week -- Gary mentioned all the photos on your site. You know this gets him off the hook -- he'll never have to give another "tank tour" as long as your site is up.
How's your Abrams coming along now? Information overload? I can't wait to see what you've done with it.

DOH!!!! Forgot AMPS in all the hustle and bustle. Doesn't that just suck. Glad you guys had fun. Did you read our exchange at four o'clock this morning on ML? I have the turret floor about 2/3rds of the way and had to rip out most of the old hull interior to accurize.
Kees, I told you so, or maybe I thought about telling you so or something like that. The only pieces of the verlinden kit I kept are the drivers control panels and the battery box. Everything else is going to be scratch built.
Thanks guys.
Rob
