Aloha everyone!!!

Quick question. I just received my Hobby Boss kit of the Leo 2A6EX and upon inspection of the turret I found that there is no crew hatches to be found. I did find a grainy picture during a GOOGLE search and it appears as if the hatches are a panel that slides open and shut. Is this true? And furthermore does anyone know what other changes were made to the EX that differentiates it from the A6 besides the added frontal armor, and turret changes.

Correct on the hatches. The 2A6 EX(port) is nearly identical to the Strv 122 and this includes the turret hatches.

Although (as usual) there are detailed differences that mean the 2A6EX in the box won't quite make either version. I think the Spanish variant is closer to the box contents than the Greek one, but I couldn't vouch for it. I intend to use references and copious amounts of plastic card to cobble my 2Hel together.

The spanish one has diferent boxes in the back of the turret, the ones from the HB Leo 2A5DK are the correct ones

From Panzernet Forum:

"el Leopardo 2E lleva cajas distintas detrás de la torre, las cuales no vienen con ninguna de las dos, y tienes otras dos opciones: Número uno, vas a tener que hacer scratchbuild. Número 2, tendrás que comprar también el Leopard 2A5DK, que viene con esas cajas"

and

"El sueco te viene bien en algunas cosas, en la torre el blindaje en las dos escotillas es el mismo, el visor tambien, cambia las cajas traseras, los lanzadores de humo que en el español son los wegman de 76 mm y en el sueco son el sistema galix, en la parte delantera de la torre debajo del blindaje, en el español esta la caja para guardar la ametralladora mg. En cuanto a la barcaza es todo igual, menos el compartimento de la APU, que esta en el costado izquierdo"

I knew it would be something like that! IIRC the 2A5DK turret boxes are also better for the 2Hel variant. Though as I'm here and the kits are at home learning to enjoy the dust, I can't quite check.
