I recieved my notice that my 1/35 Miniarm Russian SU-76 is in the mail from DragonUSA.
Fingers crossed that this will be good...the Alan/DML kit was so dissapointing...I wept.

Jeff, you are hilarious. And very nice build. How much of the original kit is left...10%??

Just got mine from Dragon USA. It looks like a really nice kit. I'm don't understand though why I'm so excited to build something so ugly.

Hi guys, I talked to a Russian vet a few years ago. He said SU-76 was nick-named "naked-reared Ferdinand" in his unit. The "reared" was much more inappropriate/impolite word in Rissian. Just an interesting fact ... as I await the model.

Got mine last night. Much better than the Alan kit. Some flash and some poor packing leading to broken small parts, but I hopefully it will build nicely. I took the opportunity to look at the Alan kit - it really is terrible. I actually threw mine away as I think no parts in it are useful. Thank you MiniArt - now maybe try for the hex turret T-34 - why not

Suka I heard was a Better choice of Words Dimitry
About 20 % really I did use the kit parts as Plans actually and went from their many years ago.

Спасибо за смех
(I know, my Russian sucks...)
LOL. "Bare-ass Ferdinand" sounds better in English. :-)
I heard they also named it "suka" (bitch)...

Much better than the Alan kit.
That's not really a big accomplishment...
I built one, definitely one of the worst kits ever. It doesn't look right, probably over-scale. Looking forward to the Miniart kit, should come directly from the Ukraine (hobbyterra.com)
