Tomorrow, i'm flying out to Nuremberg to represent the Network at
Now, for those who are unaware of it, this is one of the largest Trade Shows in the world. Although the focus is primarily toys, modeling, in all its forms is very well represented with the presence of virtually all the major manufacturers (or their Importers/representatives).
The convention center is divided into (broadly) 12 halls with hall # 7 being the interesting area for us - modelling.
For the Network, the advantages of being present isn't simply in information about new releases but as a means of keeping ourselves high-profile with the manufacturers.
So, why is the show important for us? Through the manufacturers and importers, this is where we get news of future releases, where we get sent Review material and, in many cases, where we get future advertisers - without whom, the Network simply wouldn't exist
I'll be trying to post a regular Blog while i'm there, but when I come back, i'll do a series of detailed reports on what we can expect in the coming year.
