it would seem like a handsome yet regular diorama if there wasn't for the light effect!
I think you really understood that in our days of diorama globalization where people from all corner of the world can see your work, a diorama is indeed a picture sent in a forum more than a real thing that the people may be able to touch. Therefore i think your idea of using some lights to vary picture taking angles and lights is absolutely great

Can't wait to see more!

Hello Glenn
You explain a little building was very simple, I am based in a workshop beside my job, is a building of 1936.
With wood veneers built the frame, the bottom did with the sandpaper and cut into pieces with higher measure of evergreen
The sides are covered with paste beautify labor and finally some wooden slats to the reliefs

Finally, I decided to change the awning, in principle role was, but I did not like it and changed to canvas

In the picture in the process of construction

Well, awesome work! I love how that garage turned out.
Can't wait to see more of your progress.
My only question is: where did you get that bus in 1/35? Is it a resin model?
Cheers, mate

hey i think you did an awesome job on the dio and the bus, great story line behind the dio, however would they still be able to get american auto parts, i noticed the posters on the wall, so i thought i would ask considering the timeframe.

Well done!
The storyline is very good, i like the shop's owner hastely closing the doors.
Good catch with the roof filled with stuff. The Michelin man is great ! Scratchbuild? Very original!
Your job on the bus is wonderful. Congratulations.

Amazing level of detail from the bus itself to even the roof of the shop. The bus is a beauty and a fantastic centerpiece. A unique idea to have the lamps lit. I really enjoyed viewing the work in progress in addition to the final piece.

Ah well, Domi strikes again! I just noticed the kitten on the roof and the horse shoe on the truck's engine! I really like your sense of the killing detail, not to mention ace story and tongue in cheek humour, as everytime I can't wait foryour next project because not only are they excellent, really well done and all, but they are also dead *entertaining*.
Yours are the kind of dioramas I can spend hours looking at hoping something new will hop from a corner

Turned out really good, I like the whole idea.
I agree with Scotty, hopefully we'll see this as an On Display.

Great work Domi! You have really captured a freeze-framed moment of action.
The detail is plentiful and keeps one looking for more and more little things that you have added!
Have to suggest that maybe the kitten is too close to the colour of the Michelin man?
Good stuff
