hey, I have the pretty good esci's M60 model.
In this model the road wheels are single wide wheel and not duble wheels.
I saw that couple of guys did it here and there,
how can i change them to be double wheel?
I have little background in scratching and all that but didn't get the perfect way to do it.
thank you very much.
Daniel/
by the way- after market kits are not an option.
thanks.

Here's a link to an article I did on the ex-Esci Abrams. It suffers from the same road wheel problem the M60 does. http://armorama.kitmaker.net//features/149
It is a fairly simple solution that looks adequate.

Thank you very much!
well this is the thing I wanted to do, I thought maybe there is another one.
I have pretty good idea how to make it.
If anyone has another way I will be very happy to hear it.
thank you very much.
All the best.

Another method would be to chuck the road wheel into a mounted hobby drill acting as a lathe. You can then make a groove in the wide wheels.

Daniel,
Here is a link that you may also find helpful in solving the double wheel problem with the ESCI wheels with a good tip on keeping the groove in the same location during the process of modification to achive the double wheel.

Hope this will help you and any one else faced with the same situation.
