Thanks Don
I agree Pat, Miniart do it again, great little set up with the Soviet Jeep crew and the lady with the flags.
I'm sure there's more to come. Nice to see the 1/16 King Tiger on Trumpeters stand showing its progressing and on its way, hopefully soon.
An old expression comes to mind we'd use as kids to describe why we liked something "Big and grippy"
Just hope I can afford it when it comes out.
I feel like reciting the old Monty Python Four Yorkshiremen sketch when I survey the modelling scene today "Ah of course we had it tough when I were a lad"
Never been a better time for modellers, long may it continue although I strongly suspect at the rate they are coming out we'll never have time to build them all even if it's only the ones we really like !!

I am interested in that 1/144 Fletcher.
That was the F-22 Raptor, not the F-35 JSF.

Thanks.
I note that "IBG Models" are producing 1/72nd British Softskins - i.e. a couple of Bedford QLDs and a QLR.
Does anyone know anything about the company ? (And if anyone in the UK imports/sells their kits ?)
Also, were the QLDs used by the Royal Navy, and if so what paint scheme did they wear during WW2 during WW2 in the UK ?
Thanks.

I'm really impressed with the Italeri Elco and Schnellboot in 1/35. Now..if only I had a million dollars and a bigger house......what are human kidneys going for now-a-days? I only need one. Hmmmmmmm?

The Fletcher is there as a post-war German "Z-1" - presumably people will have to wait for a wartime fit USN Fletcher.
I contacted Hannants about the IBG 1/72nd Bedford lorries and they said that they had known about them under confidentiallity, but that now that they had been announced they would be adding them to their "future" stock.

IBG Models is a Polish company. Until recently, they were only retailing and wholesaling several brands on the Polish market. Check it out on www.ibg.com.pl

I'm just happy that we have another 1/35 Grant to choose besides the ancient Tamiya kit. Thank you Academy!
