This is my Kubelwagen, from Tamiya, built out of the box. I still have to add the windshield once I get some grime on it, and then the steering wheel, and she's basically done. I haven't decided yet on adding some clutter in the interior or not.
I believe all the paints on this one are Model Master acrylics, and it's weathered with oil washes, oil drybrushes, and chalks.

clean nice building greg,

i've made this kit a year ago and was surprised about the excellent fitting!!

in my opinion tamiya did a great job on this kubelwagen!

I am planning on building one of these in the near future for a dio so its good to see one nicely put together!

It really is a gem of a kit, everything fits wonderfully.
I wish the camera had shown the weathering better, it looks cleaner in the photos than it really is. I was going for a slightly worn vehicle without being overly filthy.

Update: the other day I sprayed the windshield, but I'm not too happy with the result. I'll probably try to remove some or most of the paint and leave it cleaner rather than dirtier. Maybe it will look like someone's wiped it down with a rag and left some crud in the corners....hopefully...
