That's right, yet another Zimmerit question. I bought the Cavalier Zimmerit sheets for my Tamiya Panther G, and am very happy so far. The cutting, fitting, and application is very easy and it looks really good. If painting and weathering goes well, it will have been worth the $20 I paid for them! However, I was wondering if anyone had tried the Verlinden Zimmerit kit? I was tempted because it comes with a whole new turret for the Panther, but couldn't find it at my hobby store. Just wondering if I should stick with the Cavalier or try the Verlinden on a furture project....like maybe a Tiger. Thanx.

Hey KMM, I posted the "How to Zimmerit" a few days back and I got a lot of responses. I have used Cavalier's Zimmerit on a Tiger 1 Late version and the results were pretty good. I used Eduards Zimmerit set for the Brummbar a little while back (both Verlinden and Eduard are Brass) and I can say that if you are going to use prefabricated Zimmerit, Cavalier (Resin) is a much better option. If you read the posts, there are so many ways to do Zimmerit. Red4 posted some good alternatives. :-)
