I am sure it is in here somewhere, but my search attempts send me everywhere but his specific discussion
Oh, and this is my first post here, hi all
I was wondering, where can I get a description of the color of soil, rocks, grass, types of trees and colors and other fauna involved in a hedgerow and the hedgerow country of France?
If you wish to just throw me some colors I can go from there. I have a diorama I am working on, and I don;'t want any glaring errors like soil that looks volcanic.
Thanks

It is difficult to describe the specific colors of nature in a specific location.
I think it would be easier to seek images
From somewhere in your country (United States) who is at a latitude / longitude similar

try to use google earth to get a general idea. Or go to travel agency web sites that give you a vertual tour. That'll give you a better idea.

Hi
and welcome.
Take a look here. The land is agricultural so would in the main be brown earthy soil with lush undergrowth. The hedges are to separate the fields and are are quite dense due to years of pruning and cultivation.
The invasion and subsequent fighting look place, as you probably know, from mid to late Summer so the leaves would be on the trees etc. and lots of greenery. Ideal for camo'
