hi guy's heres my latest build.
it's the old tamiya kit tiger 1 late version with an eduard ally barrel and fruil individual track links.i usually only build modern afv but i fancied a change so this is my first proper attempt at something from ww2. i also absolutley loved making this maybe this is the start of a new direction for me.
all your comments are appreciated

Looks quite good! You should be proud of this one.
I really like the chipping. How did you do it? Also, you might consider toning down the rust on the tracks. it seems a little orange to me.
Keep up the good work!

Question on the yellow band on barrel?
I have heard that it Might not of been Yellow but a cleaned barrel which throws the Color off.
If it is Do you have a Clear Color picture of it I do have some but really hard to tell?
Great Job

hi sam unfortunatley the flash on the camera is highlighting the rust colour and making it look very orange. pictures 6,7 are a better match. the chips were hand painted using tamiya dark gray xf-24 the same colour i painted the barrel.here are some better ones i took this morning.i hope you all like them !!! Also, you might consider toning down the rust on the tracks. it seems a little orange to me.
thanks for looking.

Great Tiger Neil! Like the way your zimmerit came out, as well as your paint and weathering job. The mud is awesome! Thanks for sharing your work!
Cheers!

Is that unit logo on the turret a decal or painted on? Either way, excellent work over the zimm., and Nice work on the zimm itself. I assume this is your first attempt at zimm. if your first WWII tank?
