I quite fancy doing a dio of an abandoned T35 with a Pz 11D beside it.
I like the idea of the contrast in sizes, but I'm not sure whether the Pz 11D was used in Barbarossa as a gun tank or whether they had all been converted to Marders of Flammpanzers.
Can anyone help?

It is my understanding that the panzer IIDs were all withdrawn from front line service and converted to other types before operation Barbarossa.
Though I suppose these two tanks could have met (not as enemies) during the invasion of Poland, if T-35s were used there. I kinda doubt they were, but I really have no idea.

Vance,
Thanks, you have confirmed what I expected.
I'll have to think again.
