Just a quick note to say that we've restocked on Mike Starmer's fine booklets on British AFV (and softskin) WW2 camouflage, including volume 1, "The Caunter Scheme" which has been out of print and undergoing revision for some months now. This volume has new information and new paint chips. Mike is currently revising volume 4 which has also been out of print for some months, and we will restock on that one just as soon as it's available. You can order them from our secure website at:

Hi John,
Thanks for the update on that one I will be interested to see a review of the updated version.
I bougfht The Caunter Scheme (old version) and whilst the pamphlet did contain good and useful infomration the price was way over the top for what was basically 20 sheets of A4 double sided text and drawings, plus a colour chart for the paints. Frankly when I saw the quality I cancelled my order for the remainder of the pamphlets I had ntended to buy.
Hopefully the new versions will have better quality and a more realistic price. Marketing this as a book and not a flimsey was/is a bit misleading IMHO.
