I think it was nice to see the real mugs behind the avatars. Why don't we have a thing called "Rogues Gallery?" this could be a place where everyone could post his or her own snap shot and makes things more cuddly and personal.

If we did that, the real pictures would have to be unlabeled! Not that it would be very tough to spot me. See, the real story behind my avatar is; I scanned a real pic of me, and used Photoshop to give it the cartoony look......

Ok, I confess. What I said above wasn't all true......... I used Paint Shop Pro, not Adobe......
Heh, maybe if that avatar actually was my face I'd have more dates!!

I suggested this to Jim some time ago... But as members of Armorama we all have our own profile page and each of us can post pics there. However, I'd still like to see the everyones pics in a separate gallery.. It could be a bit tougher to avoid Yoda's picture that way, but what the heck.. we can take that risk
Master Jim, what do you say?

Hey!!!! :-) Now, I've had several people say that I'm a handsome man, all in the past week! Of course, none of them were under the age of 40...... Plus, I don't get out much. Is the 'Macarena' still the #1 song in Casey's Top 40???

Hmmm.....what about the "My workspace" Album? There were quite a lot of users wanting this area too, but to date there have been only 3 users who sumitted photos.

What I could do is merge these 2 ideas together. A "Me & My Workspace" gallery that would have a SINGLE photo of you with a backdrop of your workspace. This, I think, will kill 2 birds with one stone (and provide the limits on storage and bandwidth that I think you are all aware of by now).

I have spoken. ::thunderclap::

This sounds OK. I have some photos of my kitchen table, so all I need are some photos of my green hair...

Is it raining by you today, Jim? Your idea would probably work. I'll have to put all of my modelbuilding stuff in the same area though...... I've got my models in one room, my workspace in another, and my airbrush + compressor will be going into yet another. We just moved here 7 months ago and are still not settled in yet. That takes my family about 8 years. The old house still hasn't sold, unfortunately. Anyone looing for a beautiful ranch with a walkout basement and 4000 sq. feet in Springfield, IL call........

How about combining 3 things with me and my workspace in my Armorama attire? Or a picture of each one of us in our Armorama attire in some historically significant place, or on a piece of military hardware, etc.?

Rob.....hmm.....for your submission I will need you in your Armorama attire, sitting on the turret of an M1A2 AND at the same time making a model on a tv-traytable!!

CaptainJ,
To add photos to your bio just use plain ole HTML. Example below:

Code:

<img align="right" src="http://yourwebspace.com/directoryimageislocated/image.gif">

I know you have some web space somewhere.

I don't have an A2 , but I can probably take a picture at the Paul Revere capture site or somewhere along the battle road between Lexington and Concord

Jim I'm not from outerspace. What exactly does all that mumbo jumbo mean? Where would I type that?

Darn!!....should have caught me back in '83-'84 when I was flying Heli-Tours of Gettysburg Battlefield!. Could have taken a few photos there at Big Round-Top, or Pickett's Charge meadow. Nowadays, here in Colorado, all I have is the site of the Sand Creek Massacre

I like this idea - I dropped my photo into the Workspace Section. I'll be going to climb around Jacques Littlefield's Armor Collection next week, bound to get a picture next to something interesting...
