While taking a rest from my other project “Rorkes Drift” I’ve started a new one… This time I have taken back to the 18th century and the conflict called The Seven Years War.
Revell has made some really beautiful sets of Austrian infantry from this period, and I decided to do something with them. And this is my current project:
I wanted to make something extraordinary – well for me at least – so I found this old pictureframe, cleaned it and did a little refreshing paintjob.

The idea is to place the dioramabase in the frame, and hang it on the wall.
The dioramabase it self is seen here:

The road will begin in the bottom of the pictureframe and lead to the battlefield on the top of the frame. Artillery and dragoons plus some infantry will be going up the road deploying as it appears onto the battlefield. More Infantry will be on the march on the left on the field, an outpost with staff on the little hill on the right and lines of infantry shooting at the “invisible” enemy on the top of the upper road.

Here is some pictures of the figures I intend to use. As mentioned they are all Revell.

Thanks for looking.
