I have asked this before but I have lost track of the original post, so I apologize for the repeat.
I am in serious need of Marine covers (hats) from the Vietnam era. Since they really have not changed since I would accept modern covers as well. I have found WWII covers but they are far from the same. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Do you mean the peaked "rail road" cap?
One of the earlier Dragon figure kits has these. (Special forces and Rangers sets)

That is the style that I mean.
The Dragon SF kit I have. The hat included with it is an Army "ball cap" style and is not really a suitable substitute, I too had thought about using it but it just does not look correct. But thanks for the reply,
I really wish that one of these companies would start producing more Vietnam era figure kits. Ever since the Vietnam "craze" of the mid/late 80's there just has not been enough attention payed to this part of history and it is a real shame.

Thanks for the info. I will have to look into the MIG figure. The Verlinden set looks like the WWII version. but it is hard to tell from the pictures I could find. Anybody have any good. clear pictures or know for sure?

I have the set at home and it is not the eight point octagone style head gear that the MIG Marine is wearing.

Thanks Pete! That is what I figured. I have never saw a Verlinden figure with the more modern cover so I figured as much.
I guess I will have to go with the MIG figure. A little pricey for just a hat but I have spent more to get less.
Thanks!

Believe it or not I never even thought about that. I may have to give that a shot.
