Real good looking M1. It's hard to tell but did you use a flash? If yes, then try taking pictures without using one. It will make pictures of your models look better. Thanks for sharing your latest gem with us.

I agree with the guys here, very nice for your 2nd build.
One little thing you have wrong and it could be because of the instructions like you said. The loaders 7.62 gun is mounted incorrectly. Nothing biggy, but if you can fix it, it needs to be a little bit to the rear. You have it mounted to forward, the mount needs to be directly under the ammo can.
if you liked building this one, you would definately like building the A2 SEP version.

Great job, Anthony. I really like it. I particularly like the subtle weathering and color variations on the side skirts. Keep it up!

As far as photography goes, it might help if you get more light. Really, you can't turn off the flash unless you have sufficient light in the surroundings. Also, a background clears the model's surroundings and keeps the focus on your work, not your workbench.

Hope this helps and good luck!

I have a DML M1A2 SEP in my stash that will be my 5th or 6th build. I can only hope it will come out as good as your build! Great job there -- very nice.
Cheers,
