I have never seen anything but I thought that I would ask. Does anyone make decals for MP helmets? I have been trying to make them but getting the curves right so that it will sit flat and look right has been a challange. If any one knows of anything or has any tips I am all ears. FYI...I am looking for Vietnam era MP helmet markings.
Thanks!

Andy the first thing that comes to mind ( because I have it ) is a decal set (383) U.S. uniform badges WWII-1988 from Verlinden. I cant really say how accurate they are for the Vn. era , 4 sets of white MP letters & 4 white bands amongst a lot of other stuff. As for the problems you´re having with decals try using Microscale: micro-sol & micro set but I advise that you apply the decals on a gloss surface with the help of a damp (not soaking cotton bud) then put a matt finish on afterwards.
