Hi,
TAMIYA has just released their "France 1940" infantry set which includes sprues for the FM-24/29 LMG and MAS-36 rifles. DML also re-released their WWII Infantry weapons set, which has the MAS 36 included, both of which can be used for a Indochina setting. BUT what happened to the MAT 49, the French SMG that appears in almost every photo of the Indochina war, Algeria and beyond! Apart from ITALERI'S offering is there anything else out there that I may have missed?

The MAT-49 submachine gun was included in the various Heller "modern" (circa 1975) figure sets. Some of these molds were sold or leased to Italeri, and that's how they assembled the accessory set that features the French helmets, rifles and such.

The female in Dragon's Viet Cong set is carrying a MAT-49

Dragon has re-released their Wepons of the Vietnam War set. It includes two MAT-49 as far as I remember.
