Hi everybody,
I started building on my first Vignette a while ago. I Made a base from Cast. Then i added sand to the base to give a bit of structure. I didn't made any pics of this.
here are some pics of what i done Today.
First i Airbrushed the base, It looks now like This.
Then i glued some static grass to the base.
I am Planning on Placing a Three to one side of the base. but still working on that one. there will be one figure looking over the edge of the hill.
If anybody has any tips or tricks on how i can improve this further let me know.
Any comment is welkom.
Greetings Léon

Hi Leon.
I think you havea good starting point for your scene. To make it look less uniform in colour and texture you could try adding small stones/rocks here and there, and have some small separate grass clumps in the gaps where just earth is showing through? Maybe a drybrushing of the earth to give it some subtle changes in tone too...These will all help to obtain a more 'random' look... Prstons idea wil also help!
Good progress though
Cheers

Nice variations in positioning. I would add a bit of a series of washes to the edge of the path to add some darker colors.
To blend it all and to tone down the bright green I would airbrush the whole thing a 'dust' color.
