My reference books on the DUKW mention that this vehicle was mostly used for offloading ships during the Korean War, with few actual combat operations, but it mentioned that the DUKW was used during the Inchon invasion. Is there further information anywhere? Thanks.

They were also used in the crossing of the Han River.

Hi Tom
Even if it is slightly off topic (No Inchon landing ), you'll find some interesting informations about the 8062nd Transportation Amphibian Truck Company in Korea HERE

And now that I am actually building an Italieri DUKW model, I want to build one of the Marine First Amphibian Truck company, but don't know how to paint or mark it. I know the Marine Corps at the time was gutted by the then-Secretary of Defense who unsuccessfully tried to severely reduce and perhaps eliminate this branch of service, and the Marines at the time had to use Army M26 Pershing tanks still in olive drab colors.
