Okay.....8 days left. The last thing are the stoopid tracks.....and they're not here yet. I hope they show in a day or so...I figure it'll take a couple of days to get them "figured out" and to put them together. Am I frustrated? Nah....what gives you that idea??

The OKB tracks came in today. Nice....5 days to go. Yep, I'll be busy this weekend!

They don't look as much of a PITA as the PART tracks....but not by much!

Keep going Mike!

This is an inspirational build.

Marty

P.S. If anybody should get an extension for the campaign deadline you should. You have overcome some monster challenges.

Thanks Marty....it's been a "wild ride." However, I'm off to Germany for two weeks this Friday. Took a look, and thank goodness, this Campaign has been extended to 15 August. Whew!

I've managed to get myself totally wrapped up in the RammTiger build....I keep looking at those teeeeeeeny, tiny PE tracks and wonder.....

As it is right now:

Anywho, the "Flying Tank" will be done by the 15th!!

Allrighty folks, just about "shot down" here. These OKB tracks are flippin', freakin' NUTS! Let me quantify that statement some: They look GREAT! But, Oh my....are they not being nice to me! The metal is appropriately thick, I mean, they do look good, but the folding is crazy (I'd rather do workable storage box hinges than these).

So, bottom line, I figured I had today to "build" and install the tracks and tomorrow to paint. Nope, won't make it. It'll take me a few days to build (my work schedule is 6:00am to 7:30pm). I'll get it done, but not in time.

Great build!
I always wanted to build this think, and never knew about the kit. Now I just have to get it, and I'll have some help with the build.
Your posts are scary for two things, btw. The resin tracks (thank god, there's an alternative), and the immaculate order in your work area. How can you build like that???

Heheheheh, it's part laying stuff out for the build, and part cleaning my chit up before pictures! Were I to take a shot right now, you'd not think my area to be so clean and tidy!

Regardless, this Flying Tank (POS) is soooooo close, it'll be done....if not this weekend, then maybe next (or there abouts ).
