Maybe this is just as we used to say inthe army (user headspace and timing off, but I can't seem to get a photo posted in a forum thread. I used to have no problem with this, but since the upgrade to the site, I have have very unusual and different results. Is therea link somewhere that has a real way of doing this? It is very frustrating...

The way I do it is to open two windows one in the forum and one in the gallery click on the image tag in your post
then right click on the photo and click on properties then copy the URL address of the photo you want: http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/19839/00numbers.jpg and paste it between the image tags

Yes, this is the way I finally discovered how to do correctly. Very rough and round-a-bout method as compared to before upgrade. Really would like to see an easier way. My Sinai diorama blog is terminally tortured with pic post attempts.

Test:
[ url=http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showphoto.php/photo/245236 ][ img ]http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/17873/thumbs/Neubaufarzeug_020.jpg[ /img ][ /url ]
The gallery's clip and paste code is simply missing the URL of the image. You can add "http://gallery.kitmaker.net/" to the url to get them to work. At some point I will try to fix this though.

I get it now. You copy the Linked Thumbnail: line of text under the photo and insert http://gallery.kitmaker.net/ between [img] and /data and paste the lot into your post.
Probably quicker to do it the other way with the image tags.
