I was looking forwad to building the DML Pak40 ever since I bought this kit. I used along with DML's kit the following; R&J's resin wheel set, Voyager's PE set, Hobby Fan's 3 man crew. The Voyager set was nice but the PE gun shields got the better of me so I opted back for the shield from DML. This was a very challenging build, frustrating at times, but I think it came out alright. The groundwork was built up from styrofoam covered in plaster. I added static grass and Custom Dioramics Rubble. I painted the groundwork various shades of a darker earth color to simulate Russian earth. The snow is by AFB Fiddly Bits "Just Snow". This is the best snowlike product I have used to date. Mig Pigments were used in the weathering process also. I hope you like it.

I was having difficulty uploading photos tonight, I am trying to remedy this, sorry.

2nd attempt failed also. OK I'm sending up a red star cluster, Help.

before I hit the "yes" button I will add these guys in anticipation of the photos not uploading again. I apologize I have done this successfully before, I do not know what i am doing wrong this time.
Well it appears that somehow, someway I have created a link to the photos. This was not my intent either. I think I am going to head down to the Legion and have a couple barley pops. Again I apologize.

Tried but not succeeded!!!!!!!

Fantastic detail on the winter camo suits. Wish I could paint figs with that amount of detail.

Very nice work with this dio,the figures are really nice and good to see they are a off white with good weathering to suite the enviroment.I like the way you have layed the snow not too much or too little and the bare patches add some interest to the scene.

Nice job Timothy

"Thank you", to Jim, Neal and Steve. Sometimes things happen better by chance or accident rather then when they are planned. Such as the case with the figures. I painted them with Tamiya flat white, the pin wash was done with Mig's Neutral wash. I bought that specifically for vehicles, but as I found out it has other uses. Mig's "Russian Earth" pigment was applied on the knees, elbows, wherever the body would come into contact with the ground. I didn't want the ground entirely covered with snow, I thought the patches of earth showing through would help to break things up a bit. I am glad to hear that my efforts have paid off.
