Jim has posted pics of my first 2 tank models. They are under M-3 Lee and in Shermie-fest. Any comments are welcome.

Nice tanks M1!!! They look better than my first tank! Is that the new Tamiya Sherman? I need to put something together and post it on the site so you all can see that I really do build models......
My M60A3 didn't turn out too well. I think I tried to do too much on the first armor model. Next one I won't try weathering, just a simple striped camo job.
Anyway, nice work! I hope to see more of your models soon.

PS Was the texture on the Sherman turret molded like that, or did you use liquid cement?

That is the Tamiya Frontline Breakthrough. The texture was part molded and part paint brush. :-)

Working on AFV Club's M-10 and M-18. Like you, I really like U.S. T.D.'s.

BC--loved the photos. I am going crazy trying to replicate the color you placed on the M-1 rifles for the figures. What did you use?
thanks

I started with a base of Testor's wood, let it dry for several days. Then lightly brushed on Model Masters burnt sienna. Gives it a simulated wood grain.
