Hi all

Can someone possibly help me. I am trying to find out which WD numbers were allocated to which LRDG patrols and to the respective names given to the trucks.

Thanks

Tom

Thanks Michel

I sent Jack from the LRDG Preservation Society an email and he came back with some info for me. The only problem is that it is not something that was well documented, they always referred to the vehicles by name and not number, even in official patrol reports etc so a lot of it is pot luck etc.

Have decided on making my Ford one from S2 Patrol, with the name of Sipolilo and WD number L4406368.

Once done I will try and post some pics somewhere.

Cheers and thanks for the links
