hi all i am looking for a figure in 35th that is multi-pose as i want to do a dio of an aussie digger that was having a shower when Darwin was bombed on the 19th or feb 1942, basicly he ran out of the showers with a towel on and took up his positon with his lewis gun with his off-sider, during the battle he lost his towel and never noticed till it was all over! what i want to do is model the guy naked with his gun leaning on the off-siders shoulder as he did in real life. any help would be awesome. i think there was a mob called praiser or something but i have no idea who stocks them in aus to ask for a set!! cheers and i hope you all have an interesting idea to do now from my true story! catch!!

The German figure company Preiser do a small range of 1/35th scale unclothed 'Academy' figures. Nope, i've no idea where you would find them in Australia, but any of the BIG 'net Model Railway retailers should have them. Probably your best bet is going to be the States...

Sorted it out for you. The scale of the Academy figures is actually 1/32nd:
You can get them on-line from here:

As to the Lewis Gun - i'm pretty sure there's at least one company out there who does them in 54mm (1/32nd) white-metal. Sorry about the confusion over scale - typically enough, they wouldn't do them in 35th would they?
And look, not one vulgar comment - I must be slipping (like the towel on the Lewis Gunner)

Sounds like an awesome project mate and I can't wait to see what it turns out like. Always wanted to go to Darwin to see all of its history (plus, I've heard theres still heaps of war junk lying around, and undiscovered off the coast). Thats just my archaeologist side talking.
Best luck, and show us your reference picture, hopefully it's censored!?
