This my completed entry for the crouching armour puffing dragon campaign.
It's a Vietnam War era M132 called 'Burn Baby Burn'
The basis of the kit is the Academy M113A1 with the old Verlinden resin M132 coupla.
There are quiet a few firsts on this model for me,
It's the first model I have made in about 10 years,
It's the first time I have used PE (Eduard),
It's the first time I have used individual tracks (Friulmodel),
It's the first time I have ever photographed my model.
I know there is great room for improvement but I am very happy with how this turned out considering the number of firsts with it and how long I have been away from the hobby (plus I was never that good back then anyway!)
Any ideas or comments on improving my work would be most welcome.
David

Looks great! I like the slight sheen to the finish, and the use of the PE brings details to life that the Tamiya kit overlooks. Weathering looks good also. Keep it up, and welcome back to modeling!

For your first model in ten years, turned out really nice.

Nice work, David! The cases of soda and rations as well as the razor wire are nice touches...

Welcome back to the hobby --- now ya just gotta put this baby in a diorama!

Keep up the good work.

Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.
