Looking at Matts posts of his abrams and the part about the wheels reminded me of my efforts at painting the bare metal part.
I thought I would post them here insted of posting them on some-one elses blog.
I made the side skirts workable so you can see the running gear if you want to
The back end , if you're interested

Need to straighten out the tracks though eh
Gun goes down
Over the top I know , but I like that kind of thing , when I have finished painting all the spare gear I will post the photos here.
Thanks for looking
John

That M1 looks really good. Is it common for the commanders .50 to elevate and depress or did you modify the kit assembly.
I also want to commend you for your "internet professionalism". Starting another thread for your topic instead of "hijacking" someone else's thread is highly commendable in my opinion.
If you have additional photos of your M1, you should post them here.

That's impressive the way you made your side skirts and MG mount movable. The silver on the wheels looks flawless. Are those the kit tracks with drilled out end connectors? If so, then once again you did a magnificent job.
Something I will keep in mind from now on.

The Abrams you modeled. Is it the same one pictured on the box top of the AIM kit?
