Jim:
How about a way to preview your thread before we post it in the forums like they do in DIGITAL DIORAMAS, so then we can look to see if things worked liked we hoped.

Why, since you can edit your post at any time.

I have noted that some users don't realise that they can "edit" their posts.
It's a nice feature for those that use it (previewing). Personally I just ignore that and click send. It does add a whole extra screen (and thus more server interaction) though.
I might be persuaded if the general consensus thought we need it.
Cheers,
Jim

My two cents is to promote the edit feature and keep the # of screens and server I/O down.

At this time, I would go with limiting your workload Jim. Maybe later.

I'm with the others, if there's a mistake I just go back and edit my post without any problem.

Whiterook,
It is NOT a dumb question, your idea is sound, but as stated by others, the edit button works fine and so you could say that you are alway's in a preview/view mode.
Never think that a question is dumb or out of place

Not a stupid idea at all, it's a good one. I am just cioncerned with how much programming it would take and with Jim's workload which seems a little overburdened as it is. Later on, it might be a nice feature to consider adding.

whiterook - I agree with Rtwpsom2 and Ronny - not dumb at all. If you don't ask you'll never know.
I know how much Jim has on his plate and if a function is already there then we can give Jim a night off

I use the "edit" function quite fequently, mostly to edit my poor grammar and spelling.
