Here are the new wheels for the Bofors Gun I'm doing to accompany the Bedford QLB. The wheels have been made using the Opel wheel rims from Italeri, and the tires from the Italeri Bofors models in 1/35. The brakes drums are scratchbuilt.

The wheels will be cast by a friend Sid Arnold of ABM Models. I'll be using the 8 spoke variety. I've seen pictures of 5,6, and 8 spoke types but the 8 spoke seems to be the common one used by Commonwealth forces early in the war.

I'll be modifying the gun and the carriage to a MkII/III style of carriage used by the British in North Africa minus the power assist motors.
