Accurate Armour's wonderful Centurion Mk11. and Ferret Mk1/2.
The Barbed wire is Hudson Allen's and doesn't cut your fingers!
The figures are from Ultracast. Except the Verlinden chap in the front, with the mug of tea.
As a young soldier, many of us (myself included) scrounged around for the good old (latest/last edition Pixie) tank suits, great for cold weather but could be really bad when soaking wet!
This diorama IS NOT 100% accurate but some regiments did keep hold of the 38 pattern webbing longer than others but the Royal Tank Regiment's belts and gaitors etc. would have been Black, (the chap on the hatch top)..
This is obviously a 4 RTR. MBT due to the Chinese 'All seeing Eye' seen on the turret bins.
This could be a composit crew from the RAC center, Bovington out on the driver training area, some point in time during the mid to late 60's.
Keith.
Ps.
One bone of contention I find irritating is the fact that the Centurion NEVER had a commanders flat faced sight!
He had a set of X9 (times nine) Periscopic Bino's and so you should actually see two round lenses.
I have yet to see this in any production model kit to date!!
Comments welcome.

It's a delightful scene with all the pieces joining up to bring to life the action of the dio! You have done a great job, especially with the AFVs, but not only! The figgies look great and very well painted! But- and there's always a but - both vehicles and figures deserved a better scenario! Not that I am a specialist- far from that- but I believe that the scenario is too crude, too simple...how to put it...unreal! Apart from that you have done a very good job!
Cheers and happy modelling

Your absolutely correct in your comment. I take no offence in what you stated.
It is one of those basically finished but never used bases, so I keep it around for displaying completed vehicles that are not slated for a purpose built diorama.
